Here’s your friendly reminder that exercise doesn’t have to be complicated.
I'll be honest, I've been struggling to find my fitness routine again after a vacation. It's funny how just a week or two away can sometimes feel like an uphill battle to get back to a routine.
I've learned throughout the years (and a lot of trial and error) that one of the best reminders for myself is not to overcomplicate it, especially when jumping back in.
In fact, one of my favorite ways of finding a way back into a routine is…drumroll…
WALKING
It's an awesome, accessible form of exercise that…
Gets you moving.
Gets you fresh air and sunshine.
Gives you a reset to start your routine again.
And, bonus, it's SUPER easy to do with a few little kiddos in tow.
So, here’s your friendly reminder that exercise doesn’t have to be complicated.
If you’re not sure where to start … go for a walk! It's also a great way to take in and appreciate the little things around you - the beauty of spring flowers, the feeling of warmer temps and the satisfaction of a deep breath of fresh air.
